Theater Arts Performance Classes
Our Theater Students take part in Theater Arts I, II, or III classes where they will learn fundamental skills including how to audition, cold-reading, scene study, monologue study, drama, comedy and improvisation. Students may compete with a monologue at our regional competitions and perform at our Showcase. We also offer Adult Acting Classes for ages 16+ in cooperation with Black Cat Theatre Company of NJ.
Musical Theater Students will take part in a Musical Theater Workshop at Trinity Studios (Wednesday 6:30 pm-8 pm) where they will engage in vocal performance and dance/choreography instruction for the stage. (*Enrollment in private voice lessons required for those students competing with a vocal solo performance). Classes will culminate in one or more group production numbers from a Broadway musical to be performed at both competition and our end of the year Showcase in June.

The Academy Theater Arts Master Class Workshops
In addition to competitive performance, The Academy at Trinity Studios offers theater and musical theater workshops for ages 10-18. Workshops take place throughout the summers and the school year. Our Theater Workshops include: Musical Theater, Acting and Improv, Stage Make-up, Stage Combat, Auditioning, and more. Theater workshops are taught by our highly experienced staff as well as leading artists in the industry, including performers on Broadway, and in TV/Film. Theater and Musical Theater Productions
Trinity Studios in conjunction with the Black Cat Theatre Company of NJ performs plays, Cabaret shows and original Murder Mystery comedies at venues such as The Sparta Avenue Stage, the Mohawk House and Industry restaurants.
