Class Spotlight: Musical Theater Production

How many of you out there have kids who love the stage? Love dancing, singing, acting, designing costumes and sets? We've got the class for them at Trinity.

Usually reserved for our Competition Troupe, "Production" combines elements of story telling into a performance piece that always entertains. This year we are expanding the class and opening it up to all theater lovers age 8 and up. 

Musical Theater Production (Production, for short) will take students through the various facets of musical theater combining dance, acting, singing and stage production. Students will learn scenes from a well-known musical, audition for various roles in those scenes, learn songs and choreography, and help design their own costumes, sets and props. Throughout the course, they will engage in theater/acting exercises and learn common stage terms and direction. The class will culminate in a performance at our June recital.
