TRINITY DANCE & POM TEAM
The Trinity Dance & Pom Team is a specialty group and prep-team for the Sussex County Minerettes and Junior Minerettes. Students interested in dance team/cheer style dance will take classes in tumbling, jazz and pom dance. Performance opportunities include our Holiday Showcase at SCCC, performances at Newton Theatre with Billboard charting country artist, Jessica Lynn and holiday parades. We also have a special trip performance opportunity at the Holiday Bowl NCAA football game in San Diego (12/30-1/2) where we will perform in a nationally televised holiday parade and nationally televised half-time show.
In the fall/winter session, we offer Mini-Pom Dance and Beginning Acro/Tumbling Classes for ages 6-10 (grades 1-5) as well as Intermediate/Advanced Tumbling and Pom Dance classes for ages 10+ (grades 5-12 with tumbling experience).
In the winter/spring session, we begin preparing for our season with the Sussex County Miners where we have opportunities to audition for the Sussex County Minerettes, the official dance and cheer team of the Sussex County Miners. Additionally, dancers can take part in the Junior Minerettes (5th-8th grade) and Mini Minerettes (1st-4th grade) Performance and Prep teams. The Junior and Mini Minerettes will have a chance to participate in holiday parades with the Minerettes and dance/cheer at select spring Miners games.
